Found details in book of golf courses in Devon whilst on holiday and decided to play 9 holes. Made vey welcome on our arrival. Found the course well kept, enjoyed playing this course. Lost lots of balls in the gorse. No water hazards but many bunkers guarding many of the greens.

A lovely little 9 hole course, immaculate condition, very quiet, very welcoming, would definitely play it again.

This course is a real challenge, set in a beautiful location. There is little margin for error and it's necessary to keep concentrating to keep the ball in play. Danger lurks everywhere. The club is very friendly and welcoming and the 19th hole gives excellent food at great value. I will definitely recommend Great Torrington as a 'must visit' if you are in the area.

A nine hole course with very tricky holes. plays well all year round but occasionaly on temporayr greens if icy. You need to be straight on this course as danger lurks everywhere.

Worth visiting
Good course condition . If your visiting the area their are great views from the course . It's tricky in places ! friendly members and staff .(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 14.5)

Very friendly club, course is in excellent condition, greens play very well. Only nine greens but 18 tricky tee positions. A very good challenge for all levels.
