Hidden gem

Discovered this course in 2016, prior to this even though I only live 20 mins away I didn’t know it was there. Just played again today after heavy winter rain last night and couldn’t believe how well the course, and especially the greens, had drained. Played Hainault 5 days ago and the water retention was awful.\Although the course looks easy, if you don’t hit fairways then the trees and out of bounds, plus numerous ditches will test you. The course is well established and quite picturesque.\I really don’t think that there is any golf course in this area that offers such good value for money on their Golf deal. Where else would you get 18 holes on a nice course, plus a cooked English breakfast for only £16? Nowhere is the answer.\Even though we live fairly local 8 of us stayed and played last summer. Beautiful weather, round of golf on 1st day, evening meal (very nice food), twin room, breakfast and another round of golf all for £70pp. Come on, it would be rude not to.\Oh, the staff in the bar and restaurant were really friendly as well. Highly recommended.
