Best course I have played so far in Essex, greens amazing and tee boxes looked after well. Being a mid to high handicap golfer it was a difficult course but a few great shots made it great. We will definitely be returning

Suburb course, challenging to all levels. Island Green on the 12th.
Excellent condition, with well timed intervals between tee offs.
The only thing missing is bar, but having said that there's a great pub 2 minutes up the road

Great course to play. Great layout. Kept in great condition. 13th hole par 3 is a lovely par 3. Shame there is no club house

One of the best courses in Essex with value to match
Played this course a number of times in the last few years and after the week of rain we have had, I didn’t have the highest hopes that the course would be dry especially so early in the morning. The course was in perfect condition with greens fast and rolling pure even with morning dew. The course isn’t the longest and can be fairly forgiving (as a higher handicap player), but provides some pretty amazing looking holes. For £45 a round on a weekend you can’t get any better in my opinion. Also helps when you shoot your two best ever scores there, great course.Reviewer Rating

Course is well kept and in good condition after so much rain. A marshalled course, but mixed ability players on a packed course made for very slow going

Course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain we have had, roll on fairways & greens quite true. The cafe is now open every day & the food (although a bit pricey was lovely.

Short course, nice view
It's a reasonable course, but it is never at the top of my 'must return' list. It's fairly short and not that memorable. Whether that is due to the lack of clubhouse or that nobody seems to be able too repair pitchmarks or replace divots... That said 9th is a really nice hole, plus greens are reasonable and bunkers well maintained.There are nicer courses, but £30 makes this worth a visit. Not sure I would pay much more.Reviewer Rating

This golf course is in great condition and is well maintained throughout the year. The holes provide an interesting and challenging golf experience, and the overall standard is very high.

Impervious to Water
At least whatever the gods can throw at it. 1 of my 2 favourite courses to play when everywhere else turns to mud. Amazing value. A good challenge & greens at optimum pace. I hear an Indian restaurant & a separate bar for golfers are under construction. I'm fearful I?ll ever get a tee time againReviewer Rating
