Course in very good nick and well looked after. However, the position of tees makes it difficult to have a quick round when you're not familiar with the course as some tees are a bit of a hike from the previous green. would work better in the USA where everyone uses a buggy.

Good place for all types of player and handicaps greens could do with some work and the tee boxes are well used

Played the Kings course. Can be a bit loud around the first tee, sometimes difficult for new players to work out where the next hole is. Ladies tenth tee was completely waterlogged which was amazing as it is highly elevated, had hardly rained for weeks and the men's tee section was dry. Those are minor niggles but overall a lovely course

Jubilee Course, ideal for the novice golfer.

The Jubilee Course is a great Par 3 and Par 4 course for novice golfers to establish their skills.

Three Rivers

Played this course in November and like most Essex courses was very wet. They had three temporary greens on but generally it played pretty good for the time of year I liked the course lay out and would defenatly come back in the summer to play again. Great facilitys to practice with nets also near the first tees to warm up. Club house very good with great food and changing rooms, all the staff were very friendly.

Nice course. A bit out in the sticks to find. Quite an open course with some holes having blind tee shots. Course layout a little confusing, we lost a hole somehow. But we got back on track.

Very good course, quite forgiving but bunkers are waterlogged. All in though a very good short course for the money

My 5th round since took up golf and second time at Three Rivers, really enjoyed playing this here again, although wasn't in as good condition as earlier in the summer.
Few bunkers and fairways are under repair to add drainage (apparently much needed), but majority of the course was playing well. From 100-70 yards out from most greens there were a large number of unrepaired divots. We did tee off at 06:30 so perhaps the greenkeepers were due to carry out repairs over the day, certainly they were out cleaning the greens during out round.

A few of the holes are particularily tough, with punishing slopes and blind crests to drive over.

Hope to play here again soon and if it was closer to home I would probably be handing over the membership fees now. Far better value for money than the courses around Brentwood area - similar course is an easy £500 a year more here!

Poor value

Greens had not been mowed, fairway cut with loose grass everywhere. Semi rough no different to rough.

No sand in bunkers been that way over a year and still some ground under repair. Hard to justify ?25 for this short course badly maintained. This is why I'm no longer a member.

Course held up pretty well considering the weather we've had, just a bit squidgy in a few places. Importantly the greens were fine
