First time I've played Thornton. The course is in excellent condition and good layout.

We played in an Open Fourball Betterball @£20 per pair. The course was fairly flat, tight in places and in very good condition although three different coloured flags confused us till a member informed us why. Balls were found relatively easy but the punishment for wayward shots was the trees hmmm the damn trees.!!!
Still can't find results on the website despite several e-mails.

GREAT PARKLAND COURSE, TIGHT FAIRWAYS AND GOOD GREENS, POOR T-SHOTS PUNISHED BY TREES SKIRTING FAIRWAYS.
