The Wiltshire
First round at the club for a month or so, despite the dry weather in my opinion the course is in great condition. Greens were as fast as I've known them despite the birds doing the best to damage them!Reviewer Rating

Course is in really condition and for the price it’s a brilliant course to play or be a member at. Greens were in good condition and bunkers were nice and soft. Course is very flat which I prefer and you can easily walk.

Great round

A game of 2 nines
This is a very stern test of golf. The front nine though long is relatively straight forward with the main challenge being the greens which are fast, true but with big breaks on virtually every putt. But the back nine is a completely different test. Accurancy off the tee is paramount eg 10 hole- tee shot over water, bunker in the middle of the fairway, out of bounds right and water in front of the green and running down to left side of the fairway to the distance that longer hitters will drive- no safe option. Lots more water on the rest of the nine with ability to shape the shot needed for a really good score. Real challenge of golf!!(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.7)

Improving and Friendly
Been a few times but things are moving in the right direction. Always friendly staff in pro shop and general staff, who knows where it will be in another few years! Hopefully more improvements to come with drainage issues a thing of the past. Really enjoy a round here.Reviewer Rating

Challenging course well worth visiting
Really enjoyed a sunny day at The Wiltshire which is in pretty good shape. Greens were excellent and fairways very good. Only pity was the Halfway House closed by the time we got there.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 23.4)

just spend 3 days at your club and found if top class. Golf courses (18 holes & 9 holes) both in good condition and good challenges for all golfers. The rooms were very good and the food was excellent as was the service at the restaurant
bar and reception. look out for Claire at the half way house after 9th hole. All the staff were very helpful and were always available to help.The owners are
hands on and it shows with top service & excellent value for money,One suggestion more selection on beers maybe local ales & Guiness

Became a member on 30th June 2009 after playing several rounds with freinds. Really enjoy the challenge of this course. It is a scoreable course with plenty of challenges that will test golfers of all abilities.

I love the course and the price was good compared to what we have been told to pay previously for a round. The course is in great condition, best for this time of year for a long long time.Shame we followed the seniors, slowest round of golf ever, something to note for a Tuesday morning

Golf weekend
Reading some of the previous reviews, we were a bit concerned that the course would be terrible, and whilst it’s not The Belfry, you get what you pay for. A couple of greens had dodgy patches, but in the main the course was in great condition, even holding up against the storm we had. Very challenging, the 17th is a great hole, if you can’t hit your tee shot more than 250, you’ll have to lay up! Hotel was fine. Bar and restaurant were nice and the staff were great.
