Great course. Very challenging from white tees and a great test of shot making. Course design is spot on with hazards in right places to dictate shot choice. Definitely return to this course.

Excellent combination of courses, each on their own would get an excellent review but to have both is incredible. I played the belfry last month and I have to say these two course are a better combination. The Earls is beautifully crafted amongst the cops whilst the open Kings course has some challenging angles and approach shots. The greens were excellent. At £23 online during the week it was great value for money. Only negative would be the course planner on the Kings which didn't have very useful yardages and on lots of dogleg and blind holes it became tricky to judge your club selection! Will go back for sure.

Was very wet under foot due to the recent bad weather, but the course was still very good and enjoyable. Greens were very quick despite the weather as well which was good.
Love the place, enjoy playing there and would recommend anyone to play either course!
Only negative was as i didnt book online, tee off was £40, so i went online in the bar and booked for £20!!!! cant understand the reasoning for that!

Nicely maintained, a good challenge - but so slow, and standard is poo

Played in March 2022 on a Saturday afternoon, the weather was amazing, which meant everyone wanted to play golf. We played the Kings, teeing off at 1.45, so plenty of time to complete the round before sunset. However, we were queuing from the tee on the first hole. The fourball in front were held up, but they could barely get off the tee the standard wasn’t great.

The front 9 took 2 hours 45mins to complete….a complete joke, no sign of any course Marshalls anywhere, when we were on the 9th tee, we counted 7 groups of golfers on the 8th and 9th holes, it was so congested.

We then decided to replay the front 9 rather than sit on the very slow back 9, we managed to do the front 9 in 90 mins second time round just as the sun set.. .you need to sort this out, it ruins the experience.

It feels like the club is just worried about revenue and not the experience. It’s a great course and set up but you have to sort the timings out, 9 holes shouldn’t take this long.

Course played sup[erbly. Fairway condition excellent. Greens very well maintained, medium fast but true. Few flat greens, so much thought required before putting to get right line. you really do need to be close to the pins to score Birdies. More than 2 yards away and the green can take over !

You will struggle to find a golf club around the country that can offer 2 very different and challenging golf courses in the same venue as good as these, especially for the price. I have been lucky enough to play many but i always enjoy returning to this venue. Overall the greens are very consistent and looked after. Both courses can play long, especially with the vary in wind direction but Earls is my personal favorite. \The staff always seem pleasant and the food is nice.\Negatives: the round can take 4-5hrs when busy but i would say it will take 2-4ball 3.5hrs anyway as the course is big.
