Three Nines, Three Different Challenges
Played Silver and Gold and liked them both, but preferred Gold as it has the water and holes that need thought. Clubhouse is good and pro shop is well stocked. Its certainly worth a look and booking on Golf Now saved around ?10 on the prices in the actual pro shop which seemed crackers to me.Reviewer Rating

Great in Winter
Played Blue/Silver, considering the weather we've had the course is in incredible condition. Greens running very well for winter, and apart from a couple of small soggy patches, fairways pretty firmReviewer Rating

My experience at The Shropshire was great. The course was in good condition, fairways were manicured nicely, and the greens were consistent and rolled true. The sand traps were perfectly raked and a pleasure to play from. The dryness didn't affect playability as the greens still held the ball nicely. Of course, the bar facilities were above par with a generous selection of beverages at reasonable prices. All in all, a great experience and a course I would highly recommend to others.

Well worth a round
I had a bit of a bad round, where as I could not for the life of me judge the speed of the Greens, they were in good condition but seemed very slow, I can only remember putting past a hole once in the whole round. Congratulations though to the Shropshire for the deal they were offering. Tee off after 1400 on Saturday or Sunday and two players with a buggy only cost £62 even for visitors like my Wife and I.Reviewer Rating

Worth a Visit
It was a hot day with no Sun and my Husband and I both struggled as the greens were a lot slower than we are used to. Unfortunately there was a wedding reception going on at the club house, which has an outdoor Marquee where a live band was playing with gusto, So towards the end of are round it was a little difficult to concentrate, but saying that everything else was OK.Reviewer Rating
