Great Course
It's a great course, in great condition. It's the first time I've played the PGA course and you need to thing and plan your shots. I think it is great value for your money.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant (mostly)
Played Brabazon and PGA on a golf weekend. Brabazon was superb - a proper golf course and a real challenge, especially 2 weeks from a DP World Tour event. Loved every hole and can’t wait to return.A bit disappointed with the PGA National. No excuse at all in the middle of June to have so many tiny yellow teeing areas hanging off the side slope of a tee box. Impossible to get a good stance on at least half the holes. Crazy rough, slightly patchy greens. Better than many courses I play but not befitting the Belfry name and a small let down.
Sam’s Bar was excellent, the food superb. Pricey, but a very enjoyable evening. 20% off drinks for hotel guests helped!

PGA National
A fun and interesting course which is well designed and well kept. Enjoyed the round and in the context of the wider facility (which is fantastic) it is a very good option on any tripReviewer Rating

Never a PGA course
Played the Brabazon and pga this week, the courses are in dire need of attention, it shouldn’t take 5 and a half hours to complete a round of golf, waiting for 10 minutes on every hole, fairways havnt been cut, bunkers not raked, sand all over the fairways, greens not ironed, past my complaint over to the head of golf and he says he will pass my comments onto the greens staff. never again !!!Reviewer Rating

Bargin price
The midweek price to play The Derby course was a bargin . The greens were in excelent condition even on on the rainy day we played.A few more distance markers would be nice but the way we played our score wouldnt have changed much ! Our bus driver to the first tee was very friendly and had a few helpful tips.

Fantastic course
As always, great course, challenging to play due to hidden undulations in the greens and the vast amount of water on the front 9.Reviewer Rating

PGA National
The PGA National is a very good partner to the Brabazon, especially at ?140 cheaper on the day!!A really nice layout, with some water & some very challenging bunkers. Generally it's in superb condition & the greens were lightning fast for March. It had rained heavily most of the day before, so there was some standing water, but not bad for the time of year & the weather we'd had.
There wasn't much strategy needed off the tee it was driver every time, but the bunkering challenged your approach choices a few times.
The bunkers were a bit heavy & wet, but as I said we'd had a lot of rain.
It was disappointing that both putting greens were closed, I can understand one to control the traffic, but not both.
It's basically the Brabazon but without the signature holes so overall a great golfing experience.
