OK
Just an ok course,can get a bit boring. Certainly the slowest greens i have played in along time.some great holes like the 12th keep you going. Unfortunately silly holes like the 11th, the only shot you can play is a draw to a severe right to left slope !!! And the 17th, par 5 where you cant use driver off the tee but probably need it for your approach shot !!!. 1st and 18th both mediocre par 3s so not a good way to start and finish your round. Staff always very friendly. This review is my opinion, you might like it. Certainly played a lot worseReviewer Rating

a little bit quirky course
Too many reachable cross bunkers whhich can catch you if you're not made aware.lovely greens, some memorable par fours.

Positives: Friendly club, picturesque setting too.
Course rough has been allowed to grow too long, ball lost once it goes in, worst it's been, and mowings everywhere.
Bunkers still as bad as ever, hardly any sand and rock hard underneath.
Poor etiquette, people shout, 5 ball allowed to play, shirts not tucked in by oiks allowed to play.
Often has woolly greens.
Ridiculous twilight starts at 4pm, elsewhere starts at 2pm - 3pm.
Poor practice putting green, on severe slope, there's not one like it on the course.
Long carries over rough on some holes, not good for beginners.
Apart from that, it's ok.

23 of us played here today - Sat 7April- and I can only speak for my four ball . All of us agreed that we would not be returning. Greens were not in good condition and the course needs some serious tidying up. Streams were scruffy and contained a lot of the winter' s detritus, the trees lining the fairway also had a lot of roughage in between and around the trunks. Furthermore the streams are often not visible from the tee as the ground has been built up to form a small barrier .on the plus side the staff were first class, the catering excellent and the clubhouse adequate. The Course Marshall was also excellent

Good course and friendly staff, had to go round the course backwards due to a texas scramble but thoroughly enjoyed myself

Good price on the day, though normally a bit pricey. Nice layout of the course, only issue is the long grass once your balls in there forget finding it. Must admit the old guy behind the bar wasn't very friendly and was put out to even heat up a sausage roll. Protein shake and a banana next time

Course was in good condition but lush rough was punishing. Greens were very slow due to overnight rain but overall rather inconsistent. Course lacks sufficient tree planting in places, and some of the flatter holes lack character.

Lovely course, with some very tough holes, was serverly let down by absolutely terrible bunkers which were rock solid and ruined a very nice course, holes were generally good, hoever let down by the fact the course starts and finishes with a Par3

Enjoyable course especially early on, plenty of interesting holes. Quite open in the main but the 40 mph wind gusts made it play far harder. Some blind holes need to be played again!

Beautiful but tough when the wind blows
We got a windy day but the course was in good condition and whilst the golf wasn't our best, the views of the Kent countryside were lovely.Reviewer Rating
