Great Improvements

Have played this course in all its various layouts over the past 30 year's. First time playing it's current and probably final layout yesterday. I think they've done a brilliant job of the design and including a lot of new paths/cart tracks around the course. The views from some of the elevated tee,s across Leeds are fantastic. The course was quite busy but pace of play was good,the greens were in excellent condition and the tee boxes and fairways were pretty good standard as well. I really hope that Leeds city council don't close this course because it is an absolute credit to the city. I highly recommend that you give it a try.

Excellent

It's been a few years since I have played Temple Newsam but I thought the green were excellent and the course in general was in very good nick.We will definitely play there again.

Played the Lord Irwin today in 28 degrees, very long with some magnificent holes, the 16th and 17th are absolute crackers, but a lot of big hills both up and down!! Do yourself a favour and book a buggy for the day. At £15 it was great value, and worth its weight in gold by the end of the round!!

This is a great course something to challenge everyone. The facilities are excellent including 3 practice areas for putting, chipping and driving. The shop is well stocked and the staff are friendly. Its great value for money.

for the price you won't play better, avoid midday weekends if possible as sometimes the tracksuit and trainer gang are out. Other than that you can't fault it

lovely course fairly forgiving with decent greens in v nice condition. fantastic value at full price and even accept 241 and have twilight offers defo worth a go for your mid to high handicappers or anyone looking for a complete bargain in nice surroundings definitely a course that fights well above its weight and more than pulls it off

Quality greens for public course

Played this for 1st time in a few years. Greens were very good and overall state of course was good Its a public course so the round with concessions was less that ?12 which is amazing. if this were a private course Id expect to be paying circa ?20-?25.
