Course condition is improving every week. green keepers keeping the rough to a very short length between the fairways making it easy to play out off if your unfortunate to hit a wayward shot. Well done to them

I played the new layout of the Lord Irwin course on a twilight green fee. The course is a bit dry and the ball runs well. The fairways are good, the semi rough is a little patchy with some rather deep bits. The long rough is very penal and needs to be avoided. The greens are unfortunately poor at the moment, I'm told they are working hard to improve them. The back nine is better than the front nine as it has more shape and character; there is a tough finish for the last 5 holes with dog legs and elevation changes. I would like to play the course again when the greens are better.

Always enjoyed playing Tempy a lot (both courses)!, makes for a very challenging round where fatigue isn't an option if your going to do well.
Shame one of the courses is now being turned into a 9 holer, real shame in my eyes and another municipal leeds course has unfortunately been messed around with.

good course needs numbers re doing on the holes and signage as two courses cross over confusing to which to play next, greens were looked after
