Excellent greens
Played a fourball with friends. The course, although still very dry, is starting to green up again. Greens were in excellent condition, running true and at an acceptable speed. A pleasure to putt on. Some interesting holes, although some of the blind shots were awkward, not knowing how the course was shaped. Overall a pleasure.Reviewer Rating

Amazing condition
Greens are in fantastic condition despite the heatwave. Fairways running very fast at present. Got stuck behind a competition so slow-ish today but club is very friendly with great modern bar/restaurant. Practice facilities are being renovated which will be a big improvementReviewer Rating

Lovely course, which needs careful course management
Greens were very quick, with some borrow. Getting the pace mattered more than the borrow. Some dog legs including the first, look difficult but can be parred with care ; not like me -- slicing my tee shot, lost in deep jungle - blocked out the corner, so took a drop, chipped back on with view to the green, made fringe in 4 :-( . I would love to play it again as course knowledge is helpful. Overall great challenge and great fun.Reviewer Rating

Superb course
Excellent course in fantastic condition, greens in particular had lots of pace and borrow. Great not only to see a marshal on the course, but one who was very friendly and full of useful advice.Reviewer Rating

Great
Never seen sweetwoods looking as good. Fast greens . lush fairways good tees. Only negative was a couple of bunkers only had an inch of sand before you hit the clay. Otherwise great stuff. Some great holes here, not many so so holes. 13 & 14 are brutal. Take 2 bogies and run.. Overall you will not be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

A hidden beauty
I was so impressed with Sweetwoods Park near Edenbridge, Kent!A very challenging opening on rolling hills with lots of side hill and uphill lies. Beautiful!
The course conditions were wet and soft underfoot, but not muddy, which was a great plus for my electric trolley with hedgehogs!
I look forward to returning in the Spring, hopefully with some
of my golf buddies as well!????

Midweek treat
Sweetwoods is a great course with some very challenging holes. Lots of individuality due to trees and the way it is set out.Reviewer Rating

Worth A Trip
Played here today on a society day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Excellent clubhouse and pro shop. Recommend the full English breakfast served by extremely attentive staff. Considering the amount of rain over the past few days the greens were in fabulous condition. Tricky and undulating they kept your attention the whole time.Reviewer Rating

What does the fox say?
Post-Covid, course is usually busy and can be slow at times but worth a visit for the quality and friendliness.New head pro and fantastic greens staff have lifted Sweetwoods up a notch whilst it remains relaxed and friendly with a great bar/restaurant.
Look out for the fox around tees 4 8 & 9 - has seen all manner of swings but is only interested in your snacks

Well maintained and challenging enough
Recently joined as a member. Course has been in strong condition throughout the summer despite the variable weather and hopefully that continues into winter. As a high handicapper it offers a good challenge but not unfair and you can plot your way around. Being out of position is not the harsh penalty it can be elsewhere, thankfully!Standout holes are 4, a blind shot that then drops down a valley towards a lake; 14 (crossing a stream twice and my nemesis but it is stroke index 1) and 17, playing to an elevated green over water. But almost all holes have something to offer.

Attractive and challenging course
As a beginner (36 handicap) I was a little intimidated by the water features. However if you keep your nerve they are manageable and I only landed in the water (finding a tiny stream whilst avoiding the lakes!) once. Very hilly so worth getting a buggy on a hot day. The fairways and light rough are quite wide but if you find the deep rough then forget about looking for your ball.Reviewer Rating
