Horrible course

Wouldn’t recommend from the staff to the course all it’s pretty poor. Although it states visitors are welcome I wasn’t made to feel very unwelcome and the lady who served us was quite blunt even when we was asking general chit chatty questions.

Too many hole crammed into a small space. Didn't see the need for all the internal OOB.

Played here for the first time on Saturday 29th June 2013, tee'd off at 10am'ish. Green fee was £17. First hole is a quite a nice short par 4 actually. I hadn't realised that the course was largely par 3's (10 of them), so this was quite disappointing. It's basically a course of medium sized par 3's and shortish par 4's, with a couple of tatty 5's thrown in for good measure. I've paid less money and played on a lot better courses. I'd have to be very short of options if I was to return here. Having said that, the fairways and greens were in very nice condition, certainly no problem in that area of things. Not for the serious golfer really, but fine for a social knock-about.

shallow hall golf course is great if you are just starting to take golf up. The club should spend some money on drainage for the course, and up date some of the sighs on the tees . The club house is clean and tidy and most of the staff are friendly.
