Lovely short course

A very rural course, with great practice facilities and a really enjoyable round. Only a par 66 and not too many hazards, but still some really nice holes and a couple featuring water. Greens were quick and consistent, fairways and course in great condition. Really enjoyed playing here and for £12 midweek for as many holes as you want, it's a bargain! The course wasn't busy when I played my first circuit and I had it more or less to myself. One the second nine, it was a bit slow, but it is so serene, it really didn't bother me at all.

most serious golfers wont look at a short 9 holer, and in this case its definitely their loss. All very neat and tidy, pro shop and public café, excellent range and practise facilities. Course is very well defined and mature. despite the overall length, 2,5 and 9 are good par 4's, 7 a very nice par 3 with water in play. Weakest hole the 4th, be much better if they could tuck the green back in the trees somewhere. Tees and fairways were very good and greens genuinely excellent. Over 8.5 on my stimp, lush and receptive. Every bit as good as most championship courses I have played last few years.
Two minor niggles, no dress code enforced, which isn't to everyones taste. And is also a victim of its success with the modern curse of senior 4balls clogging the course up on a midweek morning. People will come here when they only have a spare hour or two so slow play is especially frustrating. Would benefit from banning 4balls altogether, or heavily restrict the times they are allowed to play.
Overall though its excellently setup and deserves a much higher ranking on here

Great course with lots of challenges. Very friendly staff. Can sometimes be busy but you do not have to book Tee Times.

A very cheap but highly well maintained course, perfect for beginners . Great to see Tim (the owner) actively take part in the upkeep of his own course.

Nice course in great condition but as a 9 hole you have to wait a long time to filter in to play the10th. When I visited there were members argueing over the filter system as one sign said \'players on the first tee MUST allow players from the 9th tee to filter\' and another sign stated \' MAY allow to filter\'... the members argueing were very rude to guests and other members over this inadequate and confusing filtering rule. As previously stated nice course but unfriendly members

The best nine hole course around with the most cared for greens in Lincolnshire. Gets busy so better to play four balls over ones or twos.
