Lovely course in excellent condition
Very good course, wide fairways with very little rough. Greens very quick, and challenging, with bunkers very strategically placed.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 28.7)

Stunning Parkland
One of Suffolks finest parkland courses.Stowmarket is always is amazing condition, the greens are some of the best around.
The course is quite tight off the tee but if you do end up in trouble as long as you are sensible you can still make a score.
Watch out for the 4th - the 248 yard par 3 - is so much fun.
Stow has such a fun layout with no 2 holes the same and anyone golfer of any ability will enjoy their visit here.

First time at Stow- Will be back
I only live 15 miles from Stowmarket but had never played the course. Received a warm welcome and a fantastic full English breakfast.Considering the lack of rain recently I felt that the course was in excellent condition with the fairways in good order and true and fast greens.
Personally preferred the front 9 as it had a little more variety than the back 9.
I felt the course was well laid out and easy for a first timer to see where the next tee box was.
There were a few blind shots which is fine so I'm confident on a second visit that I could knock a few shots off what I scored today. The course is a parkland course which was a nice change from my normal links style course.
Had a couple of nice drinks in the excellent clubhouse afterwards.
Will definitely be back.

Super parkland course
Always in good condition, you can see that the members and ground staff are proud and look after this place. Course played a little easier down to warm weather and no wind. Looks a lovely place to enjoy memebership(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 11.1)

Top quality Parkland.
One of Suffolk's finest.Great layout and excellent variety of holes from a 250 yard par 3 to the 450 yard par 4 17th!.
The course is always in fantastic condition and new drainage work means it stays dryer in the winter months.
Fairly forgiving off the tee and if you do go off line more often than not you will be able to get in back in play.
Greens are superb all year round.
A top track.

Best in the area
In terms of general condition this has to be one of the best in the area. The greens were lightening fast and will catch you out in places.
The course itself is a great challenge and you need to miss in the right places. The course is fairly forgiving and if you find yourself in the trees you will have a shot out to and extent.
Some holes really get you thinking off the tee too.
All round a great test in great condition.

Well worth a visit
A rolling park land course with great views especially on the back nine, some tricky holes which includes the longest par three in Suffolk.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 16.9)

Highly Enjoyable
I really like this course.A great mixture of shorter and longer holes and the layout is probably right up there with the best in the area.
The condition is always fantastic and some new drainage work that has been put in will work wonders during the wetter months.
Higher handicappers should also be able to enjoy this course, whilst it is fairly tree lined you should never really get into too much trouble.
My only issue is the green fee cost.

Im not a fan of courses finishing with par 3's which this does.
Can be tight and wide in places which is a good combination so can be enjoyed by all.
Greens were great but tough to read.
