A great 9 hole course, one of the best I have played, even with the weather, the greens were of an outstanding state, well done(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 18.5)

Great local course
Good variety of courses. The Heights course has matured well since a few years ago and was in good condition although the greens had recently been renovated, a tough challenging course. Staff friendly as always and relaxing clubhouse with good food and drink. Great value for moneyReviewer Rating

Course wasn't bad but greens were a bit rough. Some very demanding holes and lots of water. There are some new bunkers around the course but these are still bedding in and there was not much sand in them. We had a full English breakfast in the clubhouse and all agreed it was the best one we have had at all the courses we have played.

Facilties and value for money are incredible at Stonelees, would be hard pressed to find another place with superb facilities for the money. I usually play at an England Golf training centre and the driving range and shop facilities here are far better.
When it comes to the course (I played the executive) the first 3 holes are almost identical with the course becoming far more interesting after this point. I did find that all the greens were slightly too fast meaning a missed but or most approach shots simply rolling off the green. This was the same for everyone in my group of 4. There is also a lot of water on the edges of the course so f you tend to not hit a ball straight expect to lose a fair few.
Overall superb location, greens could use some improvement.
