Great discounts
This is a top Hampshire course where visitors are extremely welcome and heavily discounted green fees can be purchased online even at the weekends. Also don’t worry about needing a handicap certificate. All visitors are very welcome.Can be a bit soggy in the winter but the rest of the year it’s a cracking track with well drained fairways and the greens are generally outstanding and well drained all year around these days. Each hole is different as you go up and down the rolling fairways which give lots of excitement and character to the course with its new modern bunkering. Lots of trees too and an increasing amount of heather. Not overly long but you need to be accurate to score well here. As it’s so popular expect your round to take well over 4 hours as it gets busy and the course is not marshallled but take your time and savour this lovely mix of parkland and heathland course.

Best course in Southampton by a country mile! Talking if country miles if you can't hit it that far your games to short for here! Long 6300 yards off whites! Greens are excellent in November and fairways are superb, a couple of holes that are a bit too easy but relief from some monsters! Great standard of members as we were behind 4 fourballs on the tee and play was just under 4 hours! Highly recommend playing here! Great work Stoneham!

Second time I have played this is our own Group Golf day (www.cvd-insurance.co.uk) and this time we were lucky that we caught great weather. The condition of this course is off the scale positive. A simply must play course - enjoy!

Lots of course redesigning going on while we were there with large amount of heavy work vehicles on site, Very steep 18th fairway challenging after 17 holes

Course in excellent condition, greens are probably playing at about 9.5/10. Rough is currently high and very difficult.

I had a great day sadly I am a very poor golfer, I play at least 3 times a week but never improve. I have to use ladies clubs as I am a little on the short side but still enjoy my golf. Today I scored 127 which is good for me if I break 150 I consider it a great achievment. I am a member of

Played 36 holes in a society day here today and was brilliant. Great course that you really need to plot your way round to score well (I didn't, sadly!), flawless greens, comfortable well appointed club house (the showers in the changing rooms are better than in most people's homes!) friendly staff and members and great food. Am absolutely cream-crackered now as a result of doing the crawl up the 18th twice but would play this place again at the drop of a hat.

A hard walk amongst the heather and oak trees will test any golfer's ability on this course. The greens are usually fantastic as is the condition of the course overall.
