Wide and forgiving golf course, but loooooooong. The greens fairways and tees are all in good shape and they’ve filled in a couple of bunkers which is nice.

Ground Good
Course has dried out really well over the last 2 weeks ..Starting to get some distance on drives . Was in a 2 ball got round in 3 and a half hours.. Great day.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Always good to play here at my home track.Greens are coming on great now thanks to great staff.
Occasionally a bit slow pace but as we play midweek
there are sometimes a few seniors going a bit slowly.

Winter golf, but the course has held up well. Good work done by ground staff with a lot of work going on early in the year.

Rip Off
Booked online to play Stockwood Park on Bank Holiday Monday. Turned up on the day and was told the rate at which I'd booked the course was wrong and it would cost more to play. This was explained with a complete lack of courtesy and interest by the individual in the shop who claimed there had been a problem updating the website and there was nothing he could do and we would have to pay the higher rate.Not overly impressed, and then the problem with the customary lack of sand in the bunkers was reinforced by a group of kids being allowed to play football on the putting green opposite the first tee. Apparently there was nothing anyone at the club could do about that either

Great track
Course is currently in great condition, greens are a nice pace and runpretty true., one or two bunkers are currently gut but others are reasonable to play from.
