Probably the best course I have played.
Staff from clubhouse to greens staff very friendly and even though carrying out work on greens allowed us to play without delay, no problems with this as the greens were excellent.
A very well set out course in excellent condition and easy on the legs.10/10

Played this course for first time in an open competition. Impressed with general setup, friendly pro shop and clubhouse staff. Good practice facilities. Course in superb condition, greens true. A few stand out holes. Fairly easy walk around, a few ups and downs. Would certainly return again sometime.

Stockport's in really good nick and looks beautiful. My only criticism was the quality of the bunkers which, unfortunately, I had to experience far too frequently!!

A very enjoyable test of golf for all levels, with some great golf holes. A couple of stand out holes for me include the 1st which is one of the strongest opening holes in cheshire, and the 8th which is a fantastic par 3.
There are some classic risk/reward scenarios on many holes, and if you're swinging and putting well you can shoot a good score....but it's not easy to go low. it's a very 'fair' course that will reward good play, but it doesn't just gift you a score.
Also important to mention the high standard of catering and service that will make a visit all the more special.
Overall, not cheap, but fantastic value, and would happily recommend.

This is an excellent course with magnificent greens, fairways and tees, the only let down was the lack of sand in the bunkers otherwise a lovely venue with some picturesc wholes

First class fairways...like playing off a luxury carpet. Greens were excellent too.
