Great course - not long but still tricky
Great course in good condition. Some challenging holes and two par 5's to finish was a test on a warm muggy day! But thoroughly enjoyable old style course - mature and greens in great condition(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 17.8)

A must play course
A good all round test of your game, especially short game and putting on the true, quick greens.Definitely be back to play again.

A real gem in beautiful condition with lightening fast true greens with hardly a mark. Nice to see the green staff watering through the day #BigThumbsUp to that.
Course layout excellent but not overly long but you need to be accurate, assistant pro was a great help and made us extremely welcome. We will be back especially when its foc #1906 member club

Lovely course, with probably the best greens i have played this year. All hand mowed and running at 9.5 on stimp when we played (impressive due to the rain). I would come back here just to putt on the greens again they were that good!

Quality on all levels. Straight from the first hole you get a good impression of what you're in for. Has lots of character, rewards good shots and punishes bad shots. Greens were quality running around 12 on the stimp. Welcomed in the pro-shop and the clubhouse after. Best course I've visited in The Midlands!

Established in 1906 on farming pasture land. It has evolved over the years into a most pleasant course. Maintained to a very high standard throughout the summer with small greens which are the best you will find in Nottinghamshire. Friendly staff and members who maintain the standards of etiquette and courtesy which help to keep golf as the most civilised sporting pastime. Visitors are welcome on non competition days (best to check beforehand)
