Superb Value for Money

Great wee course best to St Andrews - The home of golf. Although for a fraction of the price. Really friendly clubhouse and members.
The course is in great condition and there are no winter mats or greens, which is a big draw.
The par 3 15th is a real stand out hole, down a large hill towards the village of St. Michaels and the railway line.
Definitely going to be playing again.

Fun course at a bargain price

It's a relatively short course, but the terrain provides a fun and interesting round. Great use of changing elevation makes for some unique holes, and provides for some of my favourite par 3s anywhere. The signature 15th hole is a terrific and extremely difficult par 3 teeing off from a height down on to a hard-to-hit green.

The roasting hot weather this summer has baked out almost every fairway in Scotland, and here is no different, but the greenskeeper has done a terrific job on the greens which are still in great condition.

The clubhouse is modest but cosy and welcoming, and the staff and regulars are all "salt of the earth" types.

A rock bottom price of £10 on a Tuesday.

Played in early September 2014. Course in excellent condition with good greens which are small and difficult to hit. Plays longer than the yardage with four very good par threes.Front nine open, back nine much tighter requiring accurate tee shots.
Clubhouse small with very friendly staff. Green fees very reasonable compared to others in the area

the best holes on the course have to be 12 15 16 and 17 so the course keeps you wating right untill the end at a par 70 this is a real challange if you get caught in the wind and rain like i did nearly every hole you are playing into a cross wind the first hole is a bit unfair if you have never played the course before blind tee shot to a blind green course was dead due to the weather but we pursisted on and got through 18 in the wind and rain we got on with the open fairways aswell so only cost us £12.50 for 2 players so pritty pleased about that clubhouse is pritty small so not many beers on offer friendly staff though will be back again sometime soon to see if i can get a better score in better codisions

Very friendly staff, don’t be put off by the shortish length of the course. The greens are fast and tricky, and the majority have run offs. Worth visiting just for the par 3 15th. What a view! This is a course where skill and finesse will prevail.
Try to power this course at your peril.

St.Michaels cosy clubhouse and staff was very welcoming. The course consists of two, very different parts. Once upon a time, it must have been a nine hole course, but this made it more interesting to play.
