Fairways are tight and close. Ground does suffer with drainage, but was playable even if boggy. Facilities were good and staff friendly. I would like to play again in the summer.

Nice course with some challenging holes. Half way house is useful.

Tricky
The course is not long but it does place a premium on hitting the fairways. The course generally was in very good condition although the greens were a bit two paced. My only gripe is that several holes cross each other which leads to longer rounds

Shame about the greens, and the Society.....
The course is in good condition, but it is such a shame about the greens. There are a few that are ok, but too many are different, and the birds have dug them up quite a bit too.
Also had to follow a Sunday society which we wasn't told about before teeing off so we aere waiting every single shot........

Great little short course as long as the wind doesn't blow too hard!

The course was in a very good condition, staff were friendly, I?ll give it that and some Very nice Challenging holes. There was parts on the course that I felt were extremely poorly arranged. This really put me off and I couldn't understand why it had been arranged that way. For example a par 3 with a tee for another hole directly in your path and a green to another adjacent to the Green your aiming at. Several times the course makes you walk directly across other holes and you wait to tee off because there?s a separate hole waiting to tee off which is directly in your line! Really put me off to be honest doubtful I?ll Return there just yet. Have to give it a good overall as it was very well kept.

Pace of play on front nine was very good but everyone in front of me stopped at the halfway hut for some considerable time and this resulted in a considerable delay in playing the back nine. Enjoyed playing the course but a number of the holes are very close together and you have to wait for players to play their shots when crossing your fairway.

Nice friendly club. Just off fairways needed a cut, making it too easy to lose balls that would normally be found. Cramped layout leads to walking across fairways. Greens were good and some nice holes. Not the most challenging of courses so good for higher handicappers.
