It's an awful long time since I have played here. Not the greatest challenge but good to begin playing the game. Value for money but not one to go back to for me tho.

After reading the reviews for this course we decided to have a round whilst in the area. Sadly, was very disappointed and did in fact only play the first 10 holes on the 18 hole course.

Definitely suited to beginners - would recommend if not seasoned golfers.

If you are more experienced however, the lack of diversity (all 18 holes laid out in one flat field), no fairways as such, slow players and no need for anything bigger than a 6 iron (I'm a girl playing off nominal 36) might put you off.

Otherwise, friendly staff in the shop and cafe.

This course is great for new starters and experiance golfers the cafe is great you can get your teas and coffees and golfers always happy to help

good par 3 for learning your chip shots for good players or beginners. No trees or hazards only sand bunkers and there is also a driving range round the back.

I have been playing at Solent meads for 9 months now the company is great and so frendly I love the golf course every game is different you can always ask the pro there for advise and help it's a great place to go. And you can play in mini tournaments every Tuesday Thursday this helps with your handicap
