Booked via teeofftimes to be told there are no tee times by the chap in the pro shop. Then we were told to come back in 5 mins to get our tickets at the tee time when at any other club you are supposed to be teeing off. This club is a little over the top with it's rules and it doesn't make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately given the noise from those drinking on the patio that is close to the 18th green I would suggest their attention to rules and etiquette be applied more beneficially

The unfriendly golf course

Pro shop could really do with going on a customer service course, or maybe they just don’t like visitors. Shame because the course is v challenging, good greens. Still too expensive at weekends, much better deals available elsewhere, no twilight rates.

Pity the greens are not yet up to par

Shooters Hill is a nice course quite near to London city. The course in generally in quite good condition for the start of the season except for the greens which are mostly sand and quite bumpy and unpredictable. Hopefully that will improve in the next couple of months.

Tough course, very hilly, but in good condition. Can be a little snooty here. Pricey compared to other better courses, but still a good test & a good course.

Tough course with good greens and the course is well hilly so if your not fit get a buggy

The members need to decide where they stand with Twilighters... really bad form on my round yesterday, will continue to play as course playing lovely but the members need to cheer up and be more friendly and welcoming.

Course in good condition. Greens were slow but not surprising for the time of year.

Interesting course with good views due to its location. Not one I'd return to though due to the "welcome" I received when I walked in the pro shop where I was abruptly told golf bags were not allowed inside - this was a pencil bag! Perhaps a hello before the chastisement for this heinous offence might have been in order. Nice seating area outside the clubhouse which because if its position manages to miss out on the views that could have been available,

Course was reasonable for the £25 charged, although a number of the holes are alike.
The pro wasn't helpful at all, insisting on us waiting for an hour till 1 o'clock even though the rain was coming down and course was empty. If we could have started earlier we might have completed our round instead of finishing on the 15th!!
Overall enjoyed the experience apart from the grumpy pro.

I\'m moving into the area soon so thought I\'d give it a try with a view to membership. I left undecided. It wasn\'t as tight as I was expecting with the opportunity to get the driver out several times. Tees, fairways and bunkers were in excellent condition but the greens were bobbly (may be due to the time of year, Oct). The par 3s were all tricky but I found the longer holes relatively easy and finished the round wondering how much a test of golf it would be in the long run. The Saturday twilight deal was reasonable £25 and the clubhouse was nice. On the downside we felt a bit unwelcome in the spike bar and the pro shop is very basic.
