Course Information
The club was first opened in 1903 with 3 holes and by 1907 a full 18 hole course was laid out by Willie Park this being completely remodelled in the 1930's by Messrs Harris and Colt.

south east London's finest
very well kept course as the name suggests very hilly although not a long course the elevated greens or elevated tees make club selection a huge factor and reading the greens is something that only local knowledge will aid you.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 21.6)

Pity the greens are not yet up to par
Shooters Hill is a nice course quite near to London city. The course in generally in quite good condition for the start of the season except for the greens which are mostly sand and quite bumpy and unpredictable. Hopefully that will improve in the next couple of months.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 26.8)

Tough course, very hilly, but in good condition. Can be a little snooty here. Pricey compared to other better courses, but still a good test & a good course.

Decent course
Tough course with good greens and the course is well hilly so if your not fit get a buggy(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 18.9)

course is in fantastic condition having been well watered during the dry spell recently the greens are really difficult to read being a hilly course which makes low scores challenging. i played a twilight rate at £25 which is the only way to get on unless you are a members guest

The members need to decide where they stand with Twilighters... really bad form on my round yesterday, will continue to play as course playing lovely but the members need to cheer up and be more friendly and welcoming.

Play here regularly as member's guest and it rarely disappoints. Good test, excellent greens (never played on temps), new pro and shop has improved things. Practice area and putting green good. Very enjoyable course to play. Plenty of older members but always willing to let us quicker players through and mostly welcoming.
