Greens terrible, we won't be back

Having heard lots of good things about this course, we visited in number and found it a real disappointment. Grass on the fairways and tees was long, the tees were damaged and not level and the greens ... well ... terrible. Not level, long grass, looked uncared for ... but it may be that there has been some sort of disease ... but if so, let groups know so they can decided to cancel or offer a discount or explanation. We all know things happen on courses which is beyond human control, just be honest and talk about it. Loved the 8th, my favourite hole.

For the time of year course in good nick only let down was players not repairing pitch marks must drive ground keepers to drink

Good Course

Played in a 3 ball yesterday. Weather picked up after the morning showers. No waiting on tees - not many golfers out probably because of the weather forecast. First nine seemed to be long and tiring with the majority of par 5?s. Fairways; greens and rough in good condition. Clubhouse open and friendly with usual fare.

coarse greens still water coming up when walking to ball on five of them and foot prints on some others will need some good weather to dry them out will play again summer

Greens pretty dry and slow and can get penalised for ok shots due to camber and dryness of fairways. Overall a good test of golf and course management.

Local course to where I live greens needed small water due them recently being sanded certain parts of the first cut of rough was far to long but for the price of £16 very good

A lot of work on course been done, the greens not running true as just been hollowed and sanded, new drainage ditched dug, looks good for upcoming season. will visit again. as plenty of potential, when these works bare the fruits of there labours.
