Slow play, congested and too many people who don't follow golf etiquette. This course is not for me.

Very welcoming and friendly. Facilities very good. Course seems to have no drainage and is fairly featureless apart from some water and a pylon.
Just the one visit for me. All the Best and good luck sorting out some drainage. It's like playing in a rice field!

So Slow
Took nearly 3 hours to do 9 holes.Felt the group behind playing right up behind us boarderline dangerous. Stuck behind the slowest 4 ball in history. Slow play, poor bunkers.
Used to be such a nice course, gone downhill

Dont know what the positive reviews are talking about???Played today, course was in ok condition, greens had loads of marks on them from unrepaired pitchmarks that hadnt been treated, and lots of pitchmarks not repaired that day.
Bunkers full of footprints.
Struggled to keep interest of play was slow.
Not sure if i'll be returning here as today wasnt as good as expected

Not for the serious golfer
Good little course but too many social golfers having a laugh. Great for societies and stag do's not for someone trying to play seriously due to slow play and unsociable behaviour.Reviewer Rating

Got to tee at my tee time. People there had been told to go out. It'll be ok ignoring the fact that the tee time was already booked. Spent entire round as a two-ball stuck behind a slow 4-ball.

Driving range busy. Not bad but a few bays being used by multiple people. For a 9 hole course it's not bad but conditions on some tees were not great and lady behind the bar was rude when I went for a pint afterwards. Could easily be great but fell short.

Came to practice as I heard good things. Driving range was rowdy with people making snide comments in the adjacent bay then couldn't book a tee time as a single player. Play was the slowest I've known. For what it is not worth the petrol to get here

Don't bother
Why was it even open today. It is just a bog.Ended up giving up on round with my son and trying the adventure park, ruined by a bunch on teenagers

Generally a good layout for pay to play course. Course in need of some loving, greens just about OK with a number of pitch marks and bunkers full of footprints. Most of the course you have the dull sound of the motorway. Would play again if it wasn't congested.

Profit over pleasure
I was playing with my grandson. We arrived to find the tee times either side of us had been booked twice over. So it took nearly two and half hours to play 9 holes, and we queued at almost every tee, and then watched hacking golf. Given the number of reviewers saying the same thing about an overcrowded course, it’s obvious that profit is more important than customer service and local reputation. Shame.
