Toughest 9 hole in the UK
What a course! You can play 9 or 18 on the different tee boxes which completely changes the hole, the difference between the 10th and the 1st is unreal… the condition was second to none with fairways cut like greens and the course itself is not for the faint hearted, babbling brooks, and the inlet rivers to the Dee and the water hazards keep you honest on approach. Up there with my top 3 played this year along with Bramshaw and Ealing, only 10 minutes off the M6 this is a must if you really want to test your game!Reviewer Rating

Absolute Gem
Great course considering the amount of rain we have had throughout Feb. Members and pro really friendly. The picture perfect 9 hole course is a test and a delight to play. I will definitely return in the summerReviewer Rating

The course was in amazing condition although the owner said the greens would be at there best within the next couple of weeks I will be going back to check it out.

Fantastic condition
I hadn't played here for about 6 years . The course is set in beautiful picturesque surroundings and was far better than I remembered. From tee to green the course was immaculate. The greens were fast and well manicured. The fairways were well cut and considering the time of year they were fantastic. It's a quirky course but well worth a visit and certainly well worth the money to play. I will be going backReviewer Rating

Hidden gem
Arrived at 6.15pm on a Saturday after playing elsewhere beforehand. Unfortunately the weather has come in prior to us playing and the first 4 greens were wet. However it didn’t spoil our enjoyment; enjoyable course with a great variety of holes which definitely make you think. Great welcome from the pro and a couple of members. Definitely on the “will be back to play again“ list for us.Reviewer Rating
