Can’t speak highly enough me and at least 16 others go there on open weekend every year are made to feel very welcome by the club. Course is a proper links test.

Great Course
Difficult Links course. Thick, unforgiving rough. Strong Winds off the coast but very good.

Great course but was in winter condition. Still good. Leisurely round and the sort of old style course that stands up to modern golf test. I would strongly urge those who think courses need to be over 7000 yards to play here. The wind ensures links shots. Narrow in places to ensure thinking. Great friendly welcome. Only down side was that as played on empty course in winter, was made to pay full rate because was Saturday. Not worth that and would rather travel to Silloth up the coast in future. Obviously Seascale not keen for future custom. Shame as had potential.

Other than Silloth, Seascale is arguably the best links golf course in Cumbria. When the wind blows the course does play long, especially the par 5's however, that should not deter the shorter hitters from playing, as accuracy is also key around here. Long grass lines the fairways as well as several hazards. If you visit during the winter, make sure you bring several layers as the wind can be quite hard off the sea.

Back again for the open competitions and the course just gets better and better a true test for golfers and when you win the singles open is just the icing on the cake ,Angus and rest competition staff as always first class and the catering staff 5 Star ,First open entry to sent away in 2015,The only down side of the singles is the time it took over 5 hours for a 3 ball

One of the hardest courses I've played recently, very narrow fairways and extreme rough. Bring lots of spare balls!

Really enjoyable but tough course. A touch expensive at £40, but really enjoyed the course, and the club members were very welcoming.

Lots of wind on most occasions i have played, the greens are sometimes a bit "bitty" due to all the sea salt and harsh weather conditions, and you better hit those fairways, the rough is crazy!

Very well maintained course and an enjoyable round of golf. It is advertised as a links course but it is probably too well manicured in places (especially the holes around the power station end of the course which would more accurately be described as parkland) to fully jusify that description. A very pleasant way to pass an afternoon with some of the friendliest and hospitable club members I have ever come across!
