What the club says: Seaford Head Golf Course is a beautiful, downland, municipal course with magnificent views of the sea and the South Downs. The course gives a lovely blend of downland and links style golf, described by many as an undulating links course.

Nice course. Fairly dry after lots of rain, and good greens considering the weather. great if you like going up and down hills not god if you like it flat. fantastic views. nice club house with view of the 18th.

Undoubtedly my favourite course in England so far. The wind can be a real pain and the twelfth is a rest on the legs. Not a fan of the winter tees but fully understand the reason.

Overcast and windy day

Course is much drier than I expected, a challenge for anybody. Not much roll in these conditions, and played off mats, but overall an enjoyable round.

very good challenging and varied course. be wary of ramblers and dog walkers who are all over the place. One who marched right across the green carrying their shopping oblivious tome poised 100 yards away ready to take a shot!

Great value

Views are worth the money alone this must be one of the most spectacular public courses in England. One proviso be aware of suicidal dog walkers and ramblers who don't stick to public footpaths and wander across fairways oblivious. When we played a family we're having a picnic at the bottom of the hill on the 18th hole totally blind from the tee.

Good course, but physically demanding

Overlooking the sea and invariably played in strong wind, hilly, a very hard physical course. But stunning views, some great golf holes and consistent greens. Recommended.

Good Weather makes it perfect

Played here a few times but the most recent the sea mists rolled in & visibility dropped from 100 yards to about 30 on the last few holes. The 18th has a sharp descent so make sure any less fleet footed in your group keep their trolley ahead of them.

Really great course. Would benefit from a course guide but will be easier on second time out. Unable to try club facilities as there was a function on when we finished. Will certainly play again many more times given the opportunities

Little Gem

I was surprised that this course is public and open to all. Challenging in places and you need to be prepared to play for position rather than booming and trying to over power it.

Nice challenging course. Friendly pro shop. Too late to sample clubhouse but toilet facilities very good. Course in very good condition. Down side was playing off mats. A course guide would have been useful, not sure if one was available. Will know what to expect next time out. Well worth the green fee.
