Brilliant course
Simply just a brilliant course, very testy with lots of tree coverage and a few hazardous ditches and ponds makes the challenge a worthy one. Condition is excellent, well managed and well looked after. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Good value for money.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.7)

Great course , some miserable members
Really good course which is maintained to a high standard all year, staff are all friendly and helpful . If you want to enjoy your round I would avoid teeing off at around 8 am most weekdays as there are a few elitist members who think they own the course and go out there way to spoil your round.Reviewer Rating

Old fashioned gem of a course
A nice but tough old fashioned find of a course. Tree lined fairways, slippery greens and a nice layout. Very friendly clubhouse, shop and staff. Excellent food. Rough a little too long in places. A strong need to keep it in play.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 103 Handicap: 18.3)

Nice established tree lined course
Tough test to miss the established trees, needs a straight hit game. Enjoyable all the same. Excellent facilities including changing rooms, shop and practice areas. Made very welcome by the staff, cracking value for day. Course in very good condition for time of the year. Will play again.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 105 Handicap: 20.3)

Local Favourite
A group of us have played a number of good local courses this summer, but Scraptoft is our favourite. Set in rolling Leicestershire countryside it's a scenic, interesting and very well kept course. With 5 par 3s and 3 par 5s it's not the longest, but each hole is distinctive and offers a different challenge, from the long downhill par 5 5th at 566 yds off the yellows to the tricky uphill par 3 11th at only 117 yds. Greens were immaculate and ran consistently and pretty quick especially considering the time of year. .Another big plus is that Scraptoft actively encourages visitors. The pro is very welcoming, members friendly, the club has a loyalty card (play 4 rounds get one free) and green fees (especially on Mondays) represent very good value.
