Greens fantastic great course to play, played with 3 members the course was in fantastic condition with fairways lush, greens in great condition after winter. Lots of stunning views over the south cliff looking back on to the town. Would fully recommend as a visitor to play... Gets busy at weekends I believe

The course was excellent. The three holes over tyhe road by the cliffs were stunning with views of the sea and scarborough town. The water features were excellent and it was quite a challenging course. Would play it again and with the two for one voucher it made it even better.

Played this course 22/09 with 9 mates and we had a brilliant time. Course was in excellent condition and the weather was superb - which always helps, especially playing a coastal course.
The views from the cliff side of the course from the 4th - 10th holes is simply stunning. Great club house with outside seating area over looking the 18th to discuss the shots that slipped away. Can't wait to play this course again.

great course
just returned from a fabulous round of golf at Scarborough south cliff.considering the weather we have had recently, its in pretty good shape.
fairways spot on ( mats required ). rough cut but still pretty soft underfoot. greens very true.
patrons very polite as are greenstaff & pro's office.

Scarborough South cliff is a very good course. I realise that as I was playing alone that I have no status on the course but it's disappointing that the players in front did not offer to let me play through in spite of having to wait at almost every tee. This has been the case almost every time that I have played here and is in total contrast to the attitude of members at the nearby Scarborough North Cliff Golf club whom I have always found to be very welcoming and accommodating.

Lovely course
Nice cliff top course on a sunny day. Only criticism would be that the sand in the bunkers was so compacted that it was near impossible to hit out of with any accuracy.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course

Unusual fairway mats
To protect the fairways you have to use fairway mats if your ball is on the fairway or place it in the semi. The fairways looked okay but there was quite a lot of mud. Mats on all tees as well, although all greens were in play. Reasonably interesting layout.Reviewer Rating
