Weather was wet and windy so bunkers flooded, considering how waterlogged it was the course held up well, greens were good. Food in clubhouse was great although on a wet day with only one tv clubhouse is poor.

gem of hampshire
Set in the Hampshire countryside this course is welcoming and kept in excellent condition. The three courses provide a variety of difficulties and require a fair degree of course management to post a decent score - would recommend and definitely go again.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 104 Handicap: 21.4)

Overpriced at £40. Course was in fairly good condition. Poorly managed however as far too many golfers on the course squeezed in leading to 5 hour rounds. Disappointed

Gem of a course
The Lakes / Woods split is a tight and fun 18 holes to play. Well worth combining the two.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 79 Handicap: 8.4)

Great Course
Greta course with good facilities.The greens are very very fast and the day was extremely windy 40-50 mph.
Made club selection and shot making very difficult so scores and mistakes were high.
Still a test test and well worth the visit.

Great course which is difficult for the amatuer golfer. I’ve had many great rounds here, but be careful of the water.

Very wet course. Wet fairways. Some wet tees. Greens very good and lots of green keepers out in heavy rain. Despite the conditions it looked very good. However - when we got back to the deserted club house and bar - no cake. No cake! What sort of golf club is this?

Exellent Golf Course
Overall disappointed with the hotel, heating in the room did not work or was not turned for my stay would have expected that to be on in late October. Breakfast served in the hotel dining room was served cold although it was on dish warmers. Showers were not powerful enough. Would have been nice to be able to soak in a bath after round of golf. I would recommend the golf facilities but not a stay in the hotel, this takes nothing away from the staff who are excellent.Reviewer Rating
