Probably the most challenging 9 hole course in Norfolk
Ryston Park is a great 9 hole course just off the A10 at Denver, south of Downham Market. It has long par 4s, a real challenging par 5 and 2 long par 3s. One of these, the 7th is possibly the most difficult to par - drive across the lake to a green protected at the front by many bunkers and several large trees on the left. If you do par it you can feel well satisfied. Despite the lockdown the Greenkeepers have kept the course in beautiful condition and the greens are up there with the best.Reviewer Rating

My course, in great condition
I thoroughly recommend this course. The greenkeepers have produced an outstanding 9 hole course during the lockdown period. The greens are immaculate and the fairways short firm and green. The water hazards are full and the wildlife (geese) thrive. A round of 18 required two tee bookings to be permissible, easily achieved as the feared oversubscription since re-starting golf has not materialised. Am not sure if green fee players are yet able to play.Reviewer Rating

Great 9 holer
A course worth playing, reasonable green fees and challenging 9 holes. I'm a member and more often than not if you play in the mid afternoon, including weekends, it is millionaires golf.Reviewer Rating

Challenging 9 hole in Norfolk
Long par 3s and longer par 4s make this a very challenging course. Many players use woods to reach the 4th green, a Par 3 well guarded by bunkers and the 7th is behind a large water feature and again well guarded. Both of these are over 170 yards.Reviewer Rating

Best 9 hole in Norfolk?
The course is in great condition bearing in mind recent rain. New drainage is maintaining solid fairways and some of the best greens I've ever putted on. A credit to the green-keeping staff.(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 84 Handicap: 14.2)

Little hidden delight
Hidden away in near to Downham Market. A great course very flat but still a good challenge for a well looked after 9 hole course a must do place. Will be back I'm certain.

Hidden gem
A beautiful little nine hole course hidden away near Downham market. The course is always well kept and the members extremely friendly. As a whole the course has some challenging holes with many undulations on the fairways. The greens are always well kept and of a medium pace. The best hole by far is the 7th a awkward little par 3. Only down side is that the same Ts are used second time round. a plus for me is I can take my dog with me.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 18.8)
