A decent track which I played a couple of years ago. I wouldn't say its a great test of golf as fairways. Quite open and there is little imagination on the holes. Considering the beautiful setting and location, this makes me feel underwhelmed. Bunkers average (little sand) but greens good. For a hot Sunday, I would have expected it to be back to back but it was very quiet. This suggests people are choosing elsewhere to play and there is a lot of choice

A good get way from it all country based course. Gets a bit busy though. Good variety of holes - fairly open though

Still a great course, however the greens had been heavily spiked making it very difficult putting. Usually greens run quite fast, but today they were tricky to judge.

The greens where in poor condition compared to similar courses in the area. The course location and layout is very nice. Worth a visit in the summer when the greens are better and justify the summer green fees

Decent course, right next to Notts Centre Parc's, so if your there on holiday and fancy a round, then try it. Has one of longest Par 5's in County 600+ yards. Nice elevated par 3 17th over a brook. I try and play it once a year as they have good winter deals on it. Nice driving range too.

Course is in very good condition (July 2009) with good quality greens. The layout of the course is very good with not many "flat" holes so fitness (or a buggy!) is useful. Signature hole is the 16th, par 3 with very elevated tee and a wide pond in front of the whole green.

Staff are very friendly and amenable and the £15 rate after 4.00 p.m., even at week-ends is excellent value. Good outside seating area overlooking the 9th and 18th holes.

Played as a guest saturday morning and th official starter was a very unpleasant individual. Not only did he rush us to the tee but harassed us for slow play at the turn (1hr 45mins) and also told us the marshall would be following our progress. I am a hater of slow play but 1 hr 45 mins for 9 holes is not slow! When paying £30 to play an average course i would expect better from the staff. Still, other than that, the course played well and was well kept. Would reccommend but not as a guest on a saturday morning.

Played it today, definitely a course I'd go back to, but probably in the summertime only. Too much forward tee positions and winter green usage and too much GUR and Re-Turfing at this time of year. No reduction in Green Fee either is a bit of cheek for a course in such state.

Clubhouse okay, Food and Drinks were alright, reasonably priced and delivered very promptly.
