I played this course for the first time today and what an amazing course it is!! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the course was in amazing condition the greens were playing very well, this is quiet a difficult course with lots of different holes I personally enjoyed the 10th and 17th which were both brilliant I will deffinatley be returning very soon, I scored 76 which I am very proud of seen as I\'m only 16 years of age!

Played today and the fairways have all been spiked. I played here a few weeks ago and the course was a lot better then.
On the bright side I birdied the 18th

Played it this week in a society meeting. Worst I've seen it for years. Greens are sooooo slow. fairways patchy. In its defence its normally not too bad in the summer. Good beginners courses because the course is so wide open. Cant lose a ball, apart from on 16th par 3 with water in front , nice hole.
Think I'll wait for next summer to come back.

Nice Parkland course

Greens in lovely condition but fairways quite poor. Understand that it has been dry but very bare in places.

great society venue

friendly hospitable venue. staff excellent and welcoming. The course is a little bit quirky but there are some good holes particularly the 17th. Has obviously been busy since lockdown was released as there are some tired areas of fairway and tee boxes. practice range balls are very poor quality and left marks on a new set of clubs. other than that minor gripe happy to revisit in the future.

Not a winter course

One of the best courses in Nottinghamshire in good weather, usually in good condition with some interesting and varied holes and decent food and drink at reasonable prices. However they’re very quick to close the course in bad weather and have temp greens at the first sign of frost, so I’d strongly recommend checking with them before travelling in poor weather. On our most recent visit 8 of us traveled from up to an hour away only to find the course was closed as it was ‘waterlogged’. A phone call or text to let us know would have been nice. We checked and no other course in the area was closed and we managed to get the times later in the day at an alternative course nearby.

Still improving. Great society venue

Played here a few years ago and there is a clear and tacit improvement in all aspects of the facility. course layout interesting, varied and well maintained. Clubhouse and food were great. Good practice facilities. Would happily revisit and play again.
