Immaculate
?15!!! Wow. What a course and not just because of the price tag.Tee box to green everything was in immaculate condition. Freeways were very well maintained and the rough wasn't to punishing.
Some nice par 3's all very testing. Not the longest course about, all par 4s very reachable in two. Greens are large with a few undulations but all very well kept.
The 17th lived up to expectations with mixed results from our team.
The course was very welcoming. Our only niggle being clubhouse/shop was closed by the time we finished. Were we gagging for a drink but found a local pub close to the course.
We will definitely be revisiting again. You just dont get this quality of course for the cost anywhere else local.

Beautiful Course, great value
What a fabulous golf course. Stunning setting and surroundings. A challenge for the low handicap and playable at the same time for the lesser ability player. Can't think of a hole I didn't like. High up on my list and can't wait to go again. The staff are top notch ...making everyone feel very welcome. Well done Rufford Park ..and thanks for a great visit.Reviewer Rating

Nice course

Great course, really friendly and nicely set up
Got this course on a GolfNow HotDeal of ?14 and what a bargain it was. Just one temp on the first and all other greens open. Some great holes, 17 being the signature one I liked most. Pro in the clubhouse was really friendly and interested in chatting and had one of the best bacon sarnies of any course lately. Range was good too and quite good fun. Worth a visit.
Played 4th November , payed ?24 for the day , course was in great condition even after a couple of days of rain , true rolling greens and a great course lay out well definitely be going back .Reviewer Rating

Bang on
Lovely food... staff friendly... great course... best round this year so far... 24 of us on society.. very well looked after... greens a bit scored.. but all other areas on the course cracking..(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.3)

Well what a gem this course is set in beautiful wood land near Rufford Abbey with fantastic

Lovely condition
Haven’t played Rufford for 10 years and I enjoyed my visit. Greens were firm and fast, fairways had maintained a healthy coverage of grass in the dry period and was well maintained and the semi also. Quite a few holes have a generous landing area so helps with speed of play and a good score is very possible. Par 3 17th is a great feature hole downhill over water. Staff very helpful. Spike bar excellent. A great golfing venue. Only negative was a four ballOn the new motorbike buggies not behaving correctly. ( racing and sounding horns).

Played this course before and it was great to return, the fairways were cut well and the rough proved to be challenging, the greens were hard to read and all played at different speeds which added to the challenge, well worth a visit.

Welcomed to course by pro shop and given insight into layout. Course in fantastic condition with great fairways and some very tricky greens.All in all a very fulfilling round.Will play again.
