Short but interesting.
Rufford Park golf course is a favourite of mine.(BUGGY RECOMMENDED). From the 1st hole a par 4 of a decent drive and then an iron to the green at the top of an incline..but beware of the bunkers at the side of the green and the green is on 2 levels.Then the course gets very interesting and with lovely views of the surrounding area.Its not a massive hitters course but more of a thinking mans ..Loads of trees and some water..a river/stream runs through the back nine with a couple of ponds/lakes too.In summer there is loads of geese and ducks about but they do not cause any problems..The 19th hole is very good and in warm weather you can sit outside admiring the 9th and 18th greens...and a decent price for the drinks too...Highly recommended especially spring and summer.Reviewer Rating
