Friendly place, great greens.
Arrived half an hour early and was asked if we could go straight out, as a society was about to play. As a courtesy, they let us have the buggy we'd booked for free, a saving of £25.The greens and tees are in great condition but the fairways are still a bit ropey from last years hot summer.

Paid £20 which I thought was reasonable value for this time of year.
First time I had played the course, back 9 much more interesting than front. Par 3s were consistently 160 to 170 yards apart from 1 and they played long.
Greens were OK as were the fairways. Overall I would say a rather bland course and only a couple of holes stand out. Will play infrequently.
Mill Ride is just up the road and is far superior.

The course seemed very fair, although it does start to narrow a little towards the end of the round. Unusually, there are 6 par 3's, but I don't see that as a negative.
We played here after a long sunny period so the fairways were hard and starting to turn brown, and finding them with your tee shot didn't necessarily mean getting a great lie. The greens were okay, but at the moment they're nothing really special. They were smooth running, but pretty slow.
Avoid the rough. You'll be lucky to even find your feet if you go into it, so finding your ball is a nightmare.
We played here on a midweek £20 deal, which is probably about the right price. I think the normal price is nearer £40 midweek, and had I played there for that price then I think I'd have felt a little cheated. Once the course matures it may well merit that though.
The clubhouse is very nice.

Summers morning round
Overall the course is in good condition, the greens are well paced and consistent on all greens. The tee boxes is what is not up to scratch, they are heavily used and not really had time to repair with lots of divots. Would recommend a round if not played here beforeReviewer Rating

Highly recommend
Having played the course after a week of very heavy rain, the course held up well considering and was in good condition. A flat course but with some very testing holes. All the Royal Ascot team were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend playing(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 89 Handicap: 21.2)

Friendly club
Booked over the phone and have to compliment the team on their friendliness, support, organization and overall pleasantness. Greeted in the bar and in the admin office by friendly faces who really looked after us. The course was in good condition, a flat and gentle lay out with a few decent holes. Was busy for a thursday lunch time so the pace was slow.Reviewer Rating

Nice new course in very good condition given the recent weather
Played here with a member after days and days of rain. Fairly new course laid out over flat land but it has been designed to give a decent layout. Conditions were excellent given the recent weather with greens being quick and true. Would like to play it again when dry.Reviewer Rating

Always a pleasure to play
During these strange times I am looking at how well a club sets about keeping players safe and they have it spot on, well organised and clear. The course itself was bit bit parched in places on the fairways, but the greens were perfect. For a higher handicapper like myself it's a good challenge without being over difficult. Will be back soonReviewer Rating

Don't go in the rough!!
A young course that in the fullness of time will be better but it is difficult. Lots of doglegs, well bunkered par 3's. A course planner would have helped as it's difficult to know distances to the hazards. Lost a couple of balls having played onto the fairway that ran out due to not knowing how far the layup shot was. Worth a visit thoughReviewer Rating

Excellent value for money
Played RA GC last week and the first thing to say is that it was in incredible condition considering the time of the year. Hats off to the ground staff. To play a course that actually had a bounce from it was such a nice surprise. The greens as true as any played in the summer time. The course itself was a really nice - interesting holes - super par 3's (played off whites) - a proper challenge. And all this for ?22.50 - great value.
Must also say how welcoming the pro made us as first time visitors and got chatting to some really friendly members in the car par - clearly a good vibe throughout this club.
