Excellent Greens -- Very poor fairways and the overall -- Unfortunately the course has not recovered from when it was considerably wet and very neglected.

Very wet course that made it hard, and the greens were long which made putting very slow

28 pound is too much considering the condition, Very boggy - the greens and fairways were OK but if you get into trouble in the rough then you will struggle.

Will never play again during the winter months. No warning that most of the course was a bog and should have been simply shut. cant believe that they simply took our money with no warning. Played this course in the summer months and it is great value for money.

Nice weather at Rookwood today but the winter has taken its toll on the course with the fairways a little scrubby and the rough was almost grass non existent. Most greens had been hollow tined but we were not made aware of this before the round so that came as a nice surprise as putting was rather difficult. I would still recommend though as I know its not normally like this.

Rookwood
Not played for years but it’s a lovely park/woodland course, not long nor overly difficult but has some interesting holes.Greens are in poor condition with patches of different grasses making putting trickier than it needs to be and it looks bad.
Paid £30 which I think is a bit punchy which probably explains why we could get on at short notice.

Rookwwod is a good quality public course. Holes are all relatively straight but there are hazards that make them challenging and the rough is very long so will eat any stray shots.
