Lovely course. Greens abit bumpy but ok for time of year. Would recommend. Nice and co operative staff.

Bad day at the office!!!
If there was water.......I found it!
Good course, fairways a little bare in parts, greens were excellent, spoiled by a bit of an off day.

One of my local courses which I have played many times. Greens are mainly flat, with the odd exception, can be hard to play in the wind and fairways are wide for the new start golfer. 11th over the water is a pain in the rear end, until you get it right, the latter of which has been few in my playing the course.

As i am only a social player and a high handicapper i found that this course to be quite difficult, especially in the pouring rain, the 2 hole is very difficult as you have to hit a good tee shot over a water hazard so you have to be on your game early on no room for slight errors. this course is ideal for good golfers who would be enjoy negotiating round tight fairways and trees . i would certainly enjoy another round here but only on a nice day!! high handicappers play with caution

Worth a look
Excellent course with good greens. Some long and difficult par 4s. Fairways grass a little too long in places.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 24.3)

Superb course, we will return !
We decided to have a trip out and drive an hour to a new course and by golly, I am glad we did. Lovely course, with immaculate greens and fringes. The whole course was really well kept and some great water holes (which I always love). We were midst COVID rules so we didn't use the clubhouse facilities but the set up looked very professional. We will certainly play it on our trips north to Close House and Slaley in the coming months. Definitely somewhere you will not be disappointed with.Reviewer Rating
