Greens very bobbly and slow, slits down the fairways on numerous holes that are big enough to lose your ball down and bunkers have no sand in at all.

Could be good, but needs money spending, bunkers very poor, some tees look if never been cut at times, generally a lack of know how, very poorly designed, pro shops ok. Found them not very friendly.

Nice long course pity about the T boxes

Decent challenge
First time playing the course found it interesting especially the holes involving water. Course was in good condition, however the greens were heavily watered and grassy so slow but at least they were true. Pace of play was disappointing with a gents 3 ball holding up an elderly ladies 3 ball in front of us the whole way round.Reviewer Rating

For first time players , poor course details no fairway markers for guide when

Needs far more marking for yardages. Tee boxes were poor and didn't tell me distance to hole properly. Greens were decent, as were fairways. Nowt exciting.

First, the greens were hard and bumpy, the very difficult to hold an approach shot on the putting surface.
That said, an enjoyable round on a windy, wet, chilly day. Some pedestrian holes, but also some crackers - the par 5 9th needs careful thought, the 13th a tricky and pretty hole.
Water hazards well placed all around the course without being too punitive. The par 3 11th looks pretty (and scary) from the tee!
NOTE - the stream across the 18th is particularly cunningly placed, just tempting you to attempt to clear it if you fancy yourself as hitting a long ball. I went for it and saw the splash of doom!

Bad day at the office!!!
If there was water.......I found it!

One of my local courses which I have played many times. Greens are mainly flat, with the odd exception, can be hard to play in the wind and fairways are wide for the new start golfer. 11th over the water is a pain in the rear end, until you get it right, the latter of which has been few in my playing the course.

As i am only a social player and a high handicapper i found that this course to be quite difficult, especially in the pouring rain, the 2 hole is very difficult as you have to hit a good tee shot over a water hazard so you have to be on your game early on no room for slight errors. this course is ideal for good golfers who would be enjoy negotiating round tight fairways and trees . i would certainly enjoy another round here but only on a nice day!! high handicappers play with caution
