Not impressed by website so did it as a one off game. Was mistaken as this was a great golf experience with holes of character and atmosphere rather than grass deserts. Pedestrian crossing needed urgently but 4 great holes await the other side including the great signature par 3 hole 9 where you can only see half the green and also the hole 11 tee where you are virtually in someone's front garden. Favourite out of 40 + played this year.

Gutted it's now closed
wonderful 100 year + course. very pretty. It was not very long but certainly a technical course. You had to think where you where best to place the ball.Unfortunately the course has now closed for good, due to financial difficultly. This is a real shame as I always enjoyed playing there.

Short but Nice!
Parkland course on public common land - nice course with greens in very good condition given the weather. Nice easy stroll.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 25)

Fun round although lots of crossovers
Enjoyed the round, greens were in fantastic condition and put a lot more expensive golf courses to shame.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 21.7)

First time round here. Nice little course. Far more challenging than the modest yardage suggests. Many holes are risk/reward if you choose to bring out the driver but can be played sensibly with an iron off the tee if preferred. No bunkers on the course which makes it unusual but doesn't lose anything for that. A few blind shots here and there and generally well worth playing.

Good price but lots of dog walkers. No bunkers - cost saving. greens and tees in good nick. All round a nice course.
