3 friends and I had a game for a New Year get together. Considering the rain the course is solid enough underfoot on the tees, fairways & greens. I enjoyed the test offered in just 9 holes so we went on to lunch and enjoyed the game. I shot 8 over Par for 9 holes so this has given me some motivation for next year!

Course in good condition. Bunkers are rubbish,,no a=sand and seem to be kgetting rid of them, Also as a memeber there is a an issue with bookinh tee time in a sunday. You can book w 2 weeks in advance after 7am which is great. Howeveer evry si=Sunday there is a block booking of 4 or 5 tee times from 0800 at 0650 am before the normal member can book, did nit know tther was a gild star membership that allows block booking! ..Maybe they pay more than us normal members, or just mates of the club! as it seems to be the same people all the time either ahead of us or behind us . This is extremely unfaer and will make me thiink about renewing membership

Don't go in winter

Played there many times, it's a passable golf course in the summer, however I'm not sure it should be charging anyone in the winter. Quite simply it has no drainage, so I've spent a good few hours rolling around in the mud. The last month has honestly been the worse conditions I've ever experienced on a golf course. It would benefit from some basic paving between holes, as it quickly gets tiresome wading through mud. Well that is until you reach the salvation of the green, of which 6 out of front 9 were helpfully half covered in water so I could clean up pretty nicely. Finally the 7th fairway was split by a humongous river, so I got the pleasure of traversing all the way back around the outside to find teeshot. It's safe to say they need some basic drainage installed and really should know when to close the course. The damage that is currently being done, as well as actively fleecing customers when it doesn't even remotely resemble a golf course it just plain wrong.

Ravenmeadow is fast becoming the best "pay as you go" course in Hereford & Worcestershire. There are still some issues with slow (learner) players and dress code but the course is in fantastic nick and the greens are solid. Great job owners and ground staff.

Nice course but slow greens

Enjoyed the game but the greens are rather slow, probably as it's early in the season and they need some additional work to get them to speed up, overall it played well and has a few challenging holes, unfortunately you always get the group that don't seem to know golf etiquette and spoil the game taking too long looking for lost balls and not letting you play through, last game hear took us over 5 hours due to an inconsiderate 4 ball. The off course facilities are good such as putting green, driving range and of course the always popular 19th hole where you can drown you sorrows or celebrate your victory.

Reasonable

It's the cheapest around Worcester and it's usually busy. I'm new to golf, playing off 27 and it's testing enough for me. Staff are friendly and helpful. The course is well kept and, yes, it's not the most testing ( if you can hit it straight!!)
It could do with more signage and ball cleaning stations but that doesn't bother me, I'm a member playing twice a week and it's affordable.

Council Estate of courses

Very well kept course ,the front 9 is a bit more challenging than the back, great value for money ,my only gripe are the players that frequent the course! No manners or etiquette at all ,you can be on the fairway approaching the pin and a ball will be by your heels !gripe are the players that frequent the course! No manners or etiquette at all ,you can be on the fairway approaching the pin and a ball will be by your heels !!! The bell on the blind greens are pointless nobody uses them ,wearing g a helmet on these holes might be an advantage ....Good luck all shame really because it is a lovely course.

Course in very good condition and excellent value for £15. Could do with more signs for next tee as a bit confusing at times but will definitely play again.

Friendly, helpful staff and a compact course with a good variety of holes. The par4 7th requires a good drive over a stream and then an accurate shot in to a tiered sloping green. Tough hole.

Forgiving and fun

Ravenmeadow is a forgiving golf course with wide fairways and low cut rough. It is a nice course made up of two different nine-hole courses being brought together. The front nine is more picturesque but on the whole, a pleasant course.
