I was expecting more from this course after reading the reviews and its high placing in the top 100 East Midlands courses. Yes the views are lovely on the back 9 but there are only a few holes that will live on in the memory. Most holes are open and lacking character and interest. Course in nice condition considering the wet weather and hard frost. The greens were very bobbly, not fully healed from aeration so putting was a bit of a lottery. Nice golfing set up with 18 hole par 3 course and driving range alongside the main course

Considering the popularity of this course it holds up very well. The par 3 in particular has better greens than most full courses. Good pro shop and friendly reception staff.
The only downside is the catering which is grossly overpriced with surly bar /waiting staff and poor service.

A very very basic par 3 course, was suppose to play the main course but due to a mix up on the online booking we had to play this course.

Greens have been hollow tined within the last 2 weeks so not perfect but overall the course is in good condition and will only improve.

Played the par 3 today Tues 22nd July avoid going before 11.00 has they have a par3 club who have the tee between 8-10.30 we was only a 2 ball took us 4 hours to play 14 holes , shame because the course is very nice

Greens in good condition. Clubhouse well stocked if a bit pricey. Very hilly back nine but a good challenging course. Was very wet when we played due to the heavy rainfall but the greens coped well.
