This was an amazing course in great shape when I played it. the greens were fast, there was a lot of bunkers and I landed in most of them. It was really fun to play and I loved how the course follows the natural terrain of the dunes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they provided a complementary picture which was great.

A classic Must Play. Gets a little short and tight and conjected with players on the last 6 holes but a fantastic classic links and a must play.

Course in excellent condition, just wish the weather was better! Winter fees of just £25 a total bargain. Great links golf.

It was an honour to play here based on the history associated with the course. The weather did try to beat us that day but it was still very enjoyable and it is a well laid out course that has stood the test of time for well over a hundred years.

The Jewel, in the Great Scottish Crown of golf courses. The course offers up all the idiosyncrasies and tests, one would expect form a links course but with some truly memorable holes thrown in, like The Himalayas & The Cardinal. The lunch was exquisite and very reasonable. The club is steeped in history and the inside of the building seamlessly combines the romance of a golfing museum with all the latest services a modern golf club should offer. Perhaps the greatest thing about this club are the members, such hospitality and friendliness is rarely seen anywhere yet we were embraced sorry engulfed by the warm atmosphere of this club. A must for any golf lover.
