One of Lancashire?s best parkland Courses
As this is my home course i'm a little bias ! Preston is both an England golf and Lancashire championship venue. it is an undulating James Braid designed layout over 125 yrs old that has some of the best greens in Lancashire.Despite being only 6278yds off the whites our recent slope rating of 143 proves it's a challenge. Only 10 min off the M6 it's definitely worth the visit

Tough but enjoyable
First time playing Preston and it was certainly worth it. Its a challenge for any standard of player and requires you to plan each shot as there are many hazards that draw you in leading to tricky second or third shots. Definitely intend returning.Reviewer Rating

Great course worth playing
Not played Preston GC for a few years thought I would give it go in one of there open events. Friendly welcome in pro shop and clubhouse. Driving range on site, putting green next to 1st tee. Course in great condition, greens very good, little tricky to read though. Some great holes like the par 4 2nd and the par 3 14th from elevated tees. Nice walk around with a couple of uphills to negotiate. Will certainly be returning to this one.Reviewer Rating

Wow Green grass on a Golf Course !!!!
Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Preston Golf Club yesterday in their Mixed Open. Friendly welcomes in the Pro Shop (thanks Andrew) ????, the Clubhouse with a tasty bacon barm and on the 1st Tee. My Golf, sadly, was itself a little mixed!! Must do better. But the course was in very good shape and after a summer spent playing on light brown fairways and parched rough yesterday was a revelation. Green staff to be congratulated. And a conclusion, debriefing without rancour, over a hard earned pint! What ????. Doesn't get much better than this. Nit an easy course from the White Tees but we'll worth the attempt even if we only managed 36 points to finish just below half way in the field. Will return next year, God willing as grannie used to say, to have another go. Thanks to all at Preston GC for a really enjoyable day!!Reviewer Rating
