Stunning
So many memorable holes here (particularly the front 9). Greens are true and fast but you can be aggressive into them. Stunning facilities. Little old fashioned in its mindsetReviewer Rating

A gem
To be honest I had not heard of Porters Park until I actually went there yesterday to play with colleagues. From the moment you arrive at the entrance you know its going to be a good experience. Before we went out we had coffee and a light lunch of ham, egg and chips. It was excellent. The practice facilities had everything you needed with balls supplied as part of the deal. The course itself was in fantastic condition considering the hot summer we have had and the fairway watering system was clearly a huge benefit. This undulating parkland course has very memorable holes and some really tricky greens with hidden borrows etc. The bunkers, unfortunately I visited several during the round, were adequately filled with sand and great to play from. Our post round evening meal was very nice, lovely roast beef carvery. This is definitely on my "need to return to" list of courses and I would recommend golfers to try it.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Great course in great nick, bar staff didn't know what a white coffee was though and that part of the whole experience was very poor.Reviewer Rating

I particularly enjoyed the back 9 and in my opinion the 18 is a brilliant, but tough, finishing hole. This course will challenge golfers of all abilities and is definitely worth a visit.
The pro is friendly and gave us some course tips, which believe me I really need!
The staff are very friendly in the clubhouse and lunch was good. Only slight negative from our visit was that the beers didn't taste good, like the pipes hadn't been cleaned properly, but to be fair the barmaid was very friendly and agreed to change it for a bottle.
Would definitely return!

There are only two par 5s on the back nine, which obviously makes the front nine a bit more challenging. Some belter of long par 4s where you need driver and rescues to get in on two. Overall lovely course and the club house facilities are nice too. We got signed in with a member for £30, so not bad for a course in London.
