Stay at four seasons on holiday and Pinhal is next door..
Demanding course, played 6/7 times I wish players would replace divots and
pitch marks on the greens .Paying ?100+ to play expected better

We've played the Pinhal before, back in February. The course this time looked in need of some maintenance. There was no run on our shots; the ball came down and just stopped. At times it felt you were hitting on to sponge which absorbed the impact.

Not at all great...

Tight course and tricky in places. For the cost 82euro it's very overpriced especially with a buggy on top (another 40euro). Showing signs of Algerian sun damage in places and thereally are parts where the rough is especially poor.

Aso a test of golf it'll catch out big hitters who cannot keep it straight (like me). No good bombing 300 yard drives round here unless you have a dispersal of less then 10 yards either side as it is very tight in most fairways.

Greens are in places excellent but in others showing sings of being not well looked after with patches of poa annua. That side they did play true (if a little slow) so at least you could trust a line generally and go for it. Managed to two putt or 1 putt most of the time including some longer ones.

Club house is also unspectacular and nothing like you would expect having just paid more then £70 for a round!

Pinhal is a nice course but a little scruffy around the edges,so for this reason I would not play it again ,as there are so many better courses in the area. But saying that if it was my local course I would be more than happy to play it week in week out.

Try laguna or millennium of the oceanico courses before this one. The conditions of the course were unkept in areas and seemed run down somewhat.

Nice Course. Surroundings a little shabby.

The course itself was very well kept. However the surrounding area a little worn.
